Flesh & Bones, a retrospective look at the work of Stanley Mouse, opens February 23, 2007 at Davidson Fine Art, 725 Central Ave, St. Pete. Mouse, the artist who designed many of the posters and album covers for the Band the Grateful Dead, is one of the famous “Big Five” American artists responsible for the psychedelic poster movement of the 1960’s. This exhibition includes drawings, paintings, and prints showcasing a broad spectrum of work, and places special emphasis on his more recent figurative pieces. Opening Reception: Friday, February 23 at 7pm. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. Exhibition Schedule: February 23 – March 31.
