Not Just Another Pretty Picture continues through July at Progress Energy Art Gallery’s First Friday open house July 6 which will feature 23 year old poet, Adrienne Nadeau a.k.a. The Chantress. Adrienne will be treating guests to a powerful experience of written word transformed into performance throughout the evening between 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Her debut CD Pure Poetry was released in March 2006 and contains 40 minutes of her greatest hits. It will be available for purchase for $13.  She uses her creative talents to explore her religious background, speak about women’s rights and vent about her ex-boyfriends.  The Chantress is a powerful, moving poet who is excited to see what happens when she follows her passion and the rhythm of spoken word….join us in welcoming her for her first performance in New Port Richey!

Visual artwork from Steve Sperry, Sophia Naoumides, Amanda Stiles and Megan Alexander along with previously unseen works from the Czech photogrpahy exhibit will remain on display to the public until July 28.
