She is definitely captured at a moment, and there is a whole story that comes before and after. Leaving it simple allows us to write the story as we wish... connecting us to your art. Besides the fact that this is a great painting I've been thinking about simple vs. complex. And to be honest I am one of those people that may need simple but keep looking for the complexity.
