FLOCAS @ West Tampa Center for the Arts

The West Tampa Center for the Arts proudly presents FLOCAS, a multi media exhibition of Florida State University and University of South Florida MFA graduates.  Coordinated by Mark Cannariato, Artist and Instructor of Visual Arts at USF and Maida Millan, Artist and Director of WTCA, this unique show offers the public a peek at fresh up and coming exciting artists from all over the country and state, and many now working in the bay area.

The artists will offer a wide variety of work ranging from traditional approaches to the very contemporary, including installation and video.  An opening not to missed!  We invite you to come  mingle and enjoy an evening of music, culture, incredible new vibrant art work not seen in the area before, all in one of West Tampa’s most historic former cigar factories.

Additionally, the artwork and versatile studios of the WTCA resident artists will be open with new work and creative energy.  VSA Arts of Florida will exhibit artwork by artists with disabilities in the Open Door Gallery.

Live music on the 2nd and  3rd floor. Appetizers, 2 donation bars. There is a suggested donation of $3. All proceeds go to the enhancement of this new and unique venue. Handicap parking lot on Chestnut St. The Exhibit will run for three weeks.
