About
Welcome to Surrealmuse Studios – the site that features art, desktops, photography, projects, recipes, reviews, videos plus musings on our adventures in the Tampa Bay area. Living is an Art.
Back in 2002, I created a personal online diary to share my reflections on life and art. Under the pseudonym of surrealmuse, I wrote about my creative adventures, and in time decided to make the blog public in order to share the visual side of my life.
As a self-taught artist, I discovered how sharing my artistic adventures also inspired fellow artists to embark on the creative path. As the old saying goes, “If you build it, they will come.”
Over the years, the site has evolved to cover everything from cool art sites to even occasional thoughts on spirituality. Within the past year, the site has expanded to invite local contributing authors, feature local Tampa Bay Art Events, and develop an ever increasing collection of art links.
If you would like to get involved or would like more information on Surrealmuse Studios please contact us.
About Natalie Roberts

Natalie Roberts is a self-taught artist who creates soft pastel paintings with a notable style of bold lines, vibrant colors, and explorations of shadow. Her paintings often explore the feminine side of sexuality and emotion.
Her current Goddess series incorporates symbolic elements drawn from personal, mythic, and archetypal imagery. Storyboard and inspiration photographs are shot by her husband, Brian Roberts, in collaboration with local models and an amazing support and technical crew.

About Brian Roberts
With interests ranging from cooking to photography and even writing, Brian has recently graduated from the International Culinary Acedemy at the Art Institute of Tampa with a Bachelor’s in Culinary Management. His greatest passions are creating edible masterpieces for his friends to devour, photography, videography, and seeking adventure wherever it happens to be. If there is a gallery opening, a museum exhibit, good music playing, or any sort of fun to be had, Brian will be there, clicking away with the camera.

I want to thank Natalie and the team at Surrealmuse for there involvement in the local arts here in the Tampa Bay. It has been very difficult for many artists and writers to make it in this world. I would be so pleased to have you display your art work or just attend my monthly event at the International Bazaar in Ybor city. Thank you
