    Hello,

Looking for idea on Soft Pastels, today, I came across your website and was admiring your Artwork. I find your work to be striking to my eyes.

I recenty purchased a set of 30 1/2 sticks of Rembrandt Soft Pasels and thought I could see what I could create. Usually I work with graphites and charcoals, but need some color in my life as well. If you wouldn’t mind, would you have any starting point tips for my on the approach of applying soft pastels. My current knowledge is limited, like applying then blending with my fingers. This doesn’t work like I want it too.

Once again, your Artwork is wonderful to my eyes, and hope that one day, as with my charoals I will be able to get the results I am looking for as you have with Soft Pastels.
    Keep up you beautiful work.

Thanks Debbie. I’ve actually been thinking of writing a post to share some techniques. Just not enough hours in the day! :)

Amparo: Thanks for your interested in my original paintings. Just let me know what piece you’re interested in and I can set up an Etsy listing or just email you directly with pricing information. Thanks again!
